  • Effluent Pond: The pond collects and holds this effluent for treatment. Over time, solid waste settles at the bottom, forming the sludge zone.
     

  • Sludge Zone: This layer consists of decomposing organic material and is a primary source of odour, gas emissions, and long-term sludge build-up if left unmanaged.
     

  • Ultrasonic Device: Positioned on a solar-powered float or fixed platform, the ultrasonic unit is installed directly in the pond’s water column. It emits targeted sound frequencies that:
